Zn-calcium series Medium temperature phosphating solution IC-2003
Phosphate coatings are used on steel parts for corrosion resistance, or as a foundation for subsequent coatings or painting. It serves as a conversion coating in which a dilute solution of phosphoric acid and phosphate salts is applied via spraying or immersion and chemically reacts with the surface of the part being coated to form a layer of insoluble, crystalline phosphates. Zinc-calcium phosphates are used for corrosion resistance and as a paint/coating base and can also be applied by immersion or spraying.

1. Degreaser and rust removal must be completely, or else phosphating film color is not uniform,
2. After wash the workpiece, do not put workpiece in the air for too long, to avoid rusting. Make sure water in washing tank are flowing, keep water quality
3. Total acidity and free acidity need to check every two days.
4. After washing phosphorus chemical parts, should put the part in the 100 ~ 150 degree to dry, can improve the corrosion resistance.
5. Copper sulphate spot test should be done after the workpiece was naturally dried and 12 hours and the film were fully formed. Corrosion time is greater than 20 seconds.
